Delta Xi Delta
About
Delta Xi Delta is a local sorority at Montclair State University. We were founded in 1992 by a group of 20 women with determination, inspiration, and dedication. Today, we are a close-knit group of compassionate, inclusive, and smart women whose aim is to serve the MSU community with our values of scholarship, inclusivity, community service, leadership, and responsible citizenship.
One of our philanthropies is To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA), which is a non-profit organization whose aim is to help those struggling with depression, addiction, self-harm, and suicide with a message of hope and rescue. Our other philanthropy is Friends of Animals (FOA). FOA's goal is to free animals from cruelty and institutionalized exploitation around the world. Our largest events that we host to help support these philanthropies are our All You Need is Love Carnival, which supports TWLOHA, and a yearly gameshow that we host which supports FOA.
Fun facts about us: Our colors are Mint Green and Buttercup Yellow. Our mascot is Woodstock. Our flower is the Yellow Tea Rose. Our motto is Veni, Vidi, Vici.
